Mobile carrier Cellcom per-user figures drop

Mobile carrier Cellcom Israel Ltd. reported higher revenue and net profit for the third quarter of 2010, despite declines in average revenue per user and average of minutes of use per month during the quarter.
Revenue rose 3.2% to NIS 1.73 billion ($472 million) for the third quarter from NIS 1.67 billion for the corresponding quarter of 2009. Net profit rose 14.9% to NIS 332 million ($91 million) (NIS 3.36 or $0.92 per share) for the third quarter from NIS 289 million for the corresponding quarter.
Revenue from content and value-added services (such as SMS) rose 24.9% to NIS 286 million for the third quarter.
