Deputy IDF Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh denied on Wednesday reports that he plans to leave the IDF if he is not permanently made chief of staff.

"As an officer and a commander I do not threaten or give conditions," Naveh said.

Naveh was temporarily made chief of staff after Maj.-Gen. Yoav Galant's appointment was canceled.
