PM denounces racism at ceremony honoring Ethiopian Jews

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday denounced racism in Israeli society, Israel Radio reported.

Speaking during a ceremony at Jerusalem's Mount Herzl in honor of Ethiopian Jews who died making aliya, Netanyahu said that there is no place for racism in the state of Israel.Hundreds of people attended the ceremony, during which leaders read Jewish prayers honoring the dead.
