Report: Mortar shell lands on Israel's Golan Heights

A mortar originating across the Syrian border landed into Israeli territory located in the Golan Heights Sunday morning, according to the Jerusalem Post's sister publication Maariv.

The mortar shell is believed to be spill over from fighting between Syrian rebel groups and the country's army, which has been engaged in a bloody civil war over the last five years.
