The new ministerial settlement committee was set to approve the establishment of hundreds of new housing units in the West Bank, officials close to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Wednesday.

Netanyahu agreed to establish the committee late Tuesday night. According to the officials, the new housing units will be built in addition to the three hundred that Netanyahu has already promised to build in Beit El following the evacuation of the apartment buildings in the West Bank outpost Ulpana.
