Police arrested an 50-year-old school assistant on suspicion of assaulting a minor in a kindergarten class in Givatayim on Monday.

According to the suspicion, the female assistant grabbed the minor's hand tightly, shook it and knocked the child to the floor.

After receiving a report of the incident, police forces opened an investigation and arrested the suspect in the early hours at her home on Monday.

The suspect's remand was extend until Wednesday in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court on Monday.
