Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked said the Trump administration's so-called "Deal of the Century" for peace in the Middle East is still unknown to her. But efforts to reach a peace deal at this time are a waste of time, she said.

"The gap between Israelis and Palestinians is too wide," she said. "I don't see there's a way to bridge [the gap] now."

"I want peace like everyone else,' Shaked added. "I'm just being realistic."
