Supreme Court returns child to mother during adoption

The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of returning a child to her mother after the child's adoption process to new parents had already begun, Israel Radio reported Sunday. The 9-judge court made the decision on a 5-4 majority.

The court also ordered financial assistance to be given to the daughter and her mother, as w4ell as for her mother's rehabilitation process.

The judges expressed appreciation for the no-longer adopting parents sensitive on the matter.
