A border policeman and a demonstrator were wounded on Friday when security forces clashed with Palestinian and left-wing activists protesting against the West Bank security barrier in Bil’in, near Modi’in Illit.

The IDF confirmed that live fire was used, and military officials said Friday's demonstration was unusually violent. The Border Police officer was lightly wounded by stones that were thrown at his face by the demonstrators. He was treated at the scene and later taken to the Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva.
