Interior Minister Eli Yishai will propose an unconditional NIS 700 million increase in funding for Isarel’s Rescue and Fire Services, his spokesman said in a statement Saturday evening.Yishai said the government “should decide whether it wants virtual change or real change. The situation cannot be improved by ‘as if’ measures.”The proposal does not call for a structural reform or establishing aerial fire fighting capabilities.
