Telecommunications company Bezeq will use California-based Redback Networks' SmartEdge Multi-Service Edge Router as the foundation for its next generation broadband Internet Protocol (IP) network. Redback said Monday it would provide Bezeq with services and support for the infrastructure requirements together with its Israeli partner, Taldor Communications. The router would help Bezeq address its needs in the growing high speed ADSL market along multiple dimensions such as increased bandwidth, service variety and multiple access devices, Redback said.
