The Israel Electric company reported this week that in 2006, it handled some 21,441 customer complaint calls, a rise of 8% from 2005. According to numbers provided by the company, Israel Electric serviced some 2.3 million customers last year, making more than 7 million house-calls. Stoppages in electricity, electric-bill disputes and poor-service headed up the list of complaints.
