Amidror: Apology to Turkey was Israeli initiative

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's apology to Turkey over the 2010 IDF raid of the Gaza flotilla Mavi Marmara, that left nine Turkish activists dead, was Israel's initiative, Netanyahu's National Security Adviser Ya'akov Amidror told Channel 2 on Saturday evening.
"There was no US pressure [to reconcile with Turkey]. It was our idea, which the Americans helped consolidate," he said.
