Arab-Israeli MK: Netanyahu will not dictate to the people of Venezuela

Slamming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his decision to recognize Juan Guaido as president in Venezuela, MK Aida Touma-Suleiman [Joint List] said that "it isn't surprising Netanyahu will align himself with any operation, however low, to replace the government there with a right wing imperialistic one that will serve the interests of [US President Donald] Trump and his allies."

Israel joined the United States, Canada most of Latin America and some countries in Europe on Sunday in recognizing Juan Guaido as president in Venezuela.

"Neither Netanyahu or Trump will decide for the people of Venezuela who will lead them," Touma-Suleiman said.
