A large fire broke out near Elyakim, a town near Yokne’am, the Fire and Rescue Service said on Saturday.
Route 672 between Elyakim and Daliat al-Carmel was closed off. Eleven firefighting teams and four planes fought the fire.
At approximately 2:40 p.m. the flames were brought under control, the Fire and Rescue Service said.
