Defense Min. investigating post-army stipend fraud, partially suspends use

Israel's Defense Ministry has temporarily halted the ability to use the post-army monetary stipend on vocational training courses due to a suspicion of fraud, they announced on Tuesday morning.

According to reports, the suspicion of fraud was raised after multiple IDF veterans requested to withdraw money to attend vocational training courses, only for it to be discovered that they did not actually attend the institutions they claimed to be studying at.

This is a developing story.
