Shelter worker arrested for allegedly breaking child's finger

A worker in a sheltered residence in Haifa was arrested on suspicion of attacking a 13-year-old ward at the center, according to Israel Police's spokesperson.

A police investigation showed that the daycare worker, a 24-year-old resident of Shfaram, attacked the child twice, breaking a finger on one occasion.

The daycare worker's arrest was extended until the court hearing.
