Two men were shot in a violent incident that took place near the Mar Elias Monastery in Jerusalem on Friday night, a police spokesperson said.
Police arrived at the scene and found the two men, who are both residents of the Sur Baher neighborhood in east Jerusalem.
They were found in serious condition, according to medical officials, and were evacuated to receive medical treatment.
Police began investigating the incident.
