Bus veers off the side of the road into ditch, 40 passengers on board

A bus near Kibbutz Gan Shmuel in northern Israel veered off the side of the road into a ditch on Sunday morning, according to Israeli media.

A large presence of MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and reported that about 40 passengers got off the bus and are currently being examined.

MDA teams performed an initial triage for the passengers. Outside of a number of people in minor condition, no other injuries were reported.

"We arrived quickly at the scene and saw a bus full of passengers leaning to the side of the road, but it didn't overturn," MDA paramedics Yossi Azulai and Roee Gimpovitz said. "There were about 40 passengers on the bus, and everyone managed to exit. We conducted an initial assessment of the passengers to ensure they were not injured. A 57-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman suffered minor injuries. We provided them with medical treatment, and they were transported to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in stable condition and fully conscious. The rest of the passengers were examined on-site and did not require evacuation."
