Condoms examined by Health Ministry inspectors are suspected of being counterfeit. The “Durex Extra Safe” packages, whose batch number is 0010124442, manufacturing date is 3/2011 and expiry date is 2/16, were not original or marketed by the original importer. The ministry said that out of precaution, it seized 28 packages. They “may not be effective as a means of contraception or protective enough against the transmission during sexual contracts against HIV and other diseases."
