Bird flu discovered at chicken coop in Binyamina

Flu-infected chickens were discovered at a coop under the auspices of Tnuva, Israel Radio reported Friday. The coops in Binyamina, which are used for breeding and owned by the Efrat company, were immediately closed.
This incident is the second discovery of its kind this week, Agriculture Ministry officials said. Earlier in the week, the officials said that 100,000 turkeys at Moshav Aviel had to be killed after some of their birds were found to be infected.
