Chilean miners say farewell to Israel

At a farewell ceremony in Tel Aviv attended by the Chilean Ambassador to Israel Mr. Joaquin Montes and representatives of the Tourism Ministry, Chilean miner Luis Urzua expressed the gratitude of his fellow 24 miners and their spouses for their pilgrimage to Israel as guests of the Tourism Ministry. “I thank you from all my heart for your warm welcome and I also thank God for blessing me with this visit to the Holy Land. Thank you for praying for us. May God bless you forever. Shalom.”

During their 8 day pilgrimage to Israel, the miners and their spouses visited and prayed in the holy sites in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, as well as visiting Masada, the Dead Sea and Tel Aviv.
