After the reading of the verdict against Kadima MK Tzahi Hanegbi in Jerusalem Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, Kadima faction chair Dalia Itzik expressed support for her fellow party member.
"He is very talented. I hope the judges give him another chance to be a leading politician in Israel."
Hanegbi was convicted of perjury and presenting false testimony. Should the court find his actions in these crimes involved "moral turpitude," he would be required to leave politics.
