Demonstrators to protest activist's death in Nabi Saleh

Demonstrators will stage a protest Friday in Nabi Saleh over the death of an activist last Saturday after he was his in the head by a gas canister fired by an IDF soldier.
The West Bank Arab village, located close by to the Halamish Jewish settlement, is also the site of weekly protests.
"The people of this small village have been assaulted endlessly in the nearly two years since they started to demonstrate regularly for their rights and for their lands," a press release for Friday's protest said.
Mustafa Tamimi, 28, died from head wounds after he was struck with a gas canister after IDF soldiers saw him throwing stones at an army jeep.
