Drunk driver, 19, charged with murder in Petah Tikva

The Petah Tikva District Court convicted a 19-year old of murder after she drove her car into oncoming traffic in November 2008.
Leeor Radeh, 24, and Eyal Mashani, 23, both from Petah Tikva, as well as Binyamin Beni Aviged, 23, from Rosh Ha'ayin, were killed in the accident on the city's Yitzhak Rabin Street.
The driver, who claimed the road signs were confusing, was charged with murder, gross negligence, and drunk driving.
The judge stated that although the road signs may have been confusing, the driver, who was 17 at the time and was intoxicated, was in the wrong lane.
