Fischer: Gov't should not alter budget, cave to populism

Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fischer on Tuesday said that the government should not alter the bi-annual budget  just a month-and-a-half after it was approved in the name of populism.
Fischer, speaking at the Herzliya Conference referred to calls for the government to cancel price hikes for basic goods such as bread, water and fuel.
