A year old-old Foreign Ministry work dispute that led to the cancellation of a visit by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in January and which lead to the appearance to work by Israeli diplomats in T-shirts and jeans formally ended Wednesday with the signing of a new wage agreement.
The agreements, signed by representatives of the Treasury, the Histadrut and the Foreign Ministry's workers' committee, includes a 7-8% wage increase, as well as compensation for lost wages for the spouses of diplomats sent abroad.
