‘Global Finance’ again names Bank Hapoalim the ‘Best Bank in Israel’

Bank Hapoalim has been selected as “Best Bank in Israel” by the prestigious Global Finance magazine for the sixth consecutive year.

The announcement was part of the magazine’s choice of the best banks in 150 developed countries worldwide. This followed a comprehensive examination that included a series of consultations with senior officials in the banking and financial systems and with analysts.

The selection was made on the basis of a combination of objective criteria – growth of assets, profits, geographical expansion, strategic connections and development of new activities and product innovation The decision was also based on the results of a poll that Global Finance conducted among its readers to enhance the process for the selection of the best banks.

Global Finance’s publisher and editor Joseph Giarraputo said the prize is granted “to highlight excellence in financial institutions and the fact that they provide their customers with services and products that will most completely fill their needs and priorities.”

Bank Hapoalim CEO Arik Pinto said the award would not have been possible without the efforts of the bank’s staff and management, and it “gives recognition that the customers of Bank Hapoalim are enjoying the highest level of service in the Israeli banking system.”
