IAF bombs weapons storehouse in northern Gaza Strip

IAF fighter planes bombed a weapons storehouse in the northern Gaza Strip overnight Tuesday.
The jets were said to have hit their target directly, causing no collateral damage. According to the IDF Spokesperson, the operation was a response to the continued launching of rockets from the Strip into Israel.
"The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers and will continue to act with determination and force against any element that carries out terrorist attacks against Israel," read an IDF statement concerning the operation. The statement placed the blame for the rocket attacks on the Hamas government in Gaza.
The force returned safely to its base early Wednesday.
