Israel Police envoy to Turkey to be relocated

The Israel Police representative to Turkey will soon be moved to another country, most likely Romania, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said on Monday.
"He was unable to carry out his duties vis-a-vis his Turkish counterparts and ran into obstacles," Aharonovitch added.
The move is directly related to the breakdown in relations between the two countries.
The police representative is now in Israel.
The personal security of the official and his family played a part in the decision to remove him from Turkey, the minister added.
