Ivory Coast army chiefs swear loyalty to Ouattara

ABIDJAN - Army chiefs who fought for Ivory Coast's former leader Laurent Gbagbo swore allegiance to his rival Alassane Ouattara on Tuesday, a pro-Ouattara television station said.
Gbagbo was captured on Monday by Ouattara's forces backed by French helicopters and troops.
A message on Ouattara's TV said Philippe Mangou, Gbagbo's former army chief of staff, and "all the generals of the ground, air and navy forces" had pledged their loyalty to Ouattara.
Mangou held talks with Ouattara on Tuesday, his aide de camp told Reuters.
