Jerusalem Municipality completes winter preparations

The Jerusalem Municipality’s Division of Emergency and Safety has completed its winter preparations, with an emphasis on flood-control, water-proofing roofs, snow preparedness, cleaning gutters, pruning trees and ensuring pets are adequately heated during inclement weather.

In a Sunday statement, the municipality advised residents and business owners to proactively take safety precautions, including safeguarding electrical equipment, securing elevated objects from high winds, cleaning all water-drainage equipment and ensuring water pipes do not freeze.
