Jordan gives refuge to 100 Syrian security personnel

Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh announced Sunday that his country would offer refuge to 100 Syrian army personnel and police officers that have defected since the beginning of anti-government protests that began over eight months ago, Israel Radio reported.
On Friday, Syrian military said 10 personnel, including six pilots, were killed in an attack on an air force base and that the incident proved foreign involvement in the revolt against Syrian President Bashar Assad's rule.
