Justice Ministry: Bibi-Tours investigation is ongoing

The Attorney General's probe into alleged "double funding" of trips abroad made by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, is ongoing and a decision has not yet been reached on the matter, the Justice Ministry said in a statement on Monday evening.This announcement followed earlier reports that Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein was expected decide against opening an investigation into the affair

The Justice Ministry further noted that during the State Comptroller's audit of ministers' and deputy ministers' foreign travel, an issue arose which has been passed to the attorney general for clarification.

The Justice Ministry refused to go into details of the matter, but said that the materials which the state comptroller passed to Weinstein's office are being examined.
