Landau urges court to reconsider Ulpana ruling

Ysrael Beytenu Minister Uzi Landau on Tuesday called on the Supreme Court to take up the Ulpana outpost issue once again, and include the owners of the houses in question in the discussion.
Speaking to Israel Radio, Landau said that the court had previously ruled that even terrorists cannot be evacuated from their homes without the opportunity to present their case to judges.
Yariv Openheimer, head of Peace Now, said the petition was presented to the court before the houses in question were populated.
Attorney-General Yehudah Weinstein is expected to decide on Tuesday whether or not Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's plan for moving homes in the Ulpana outpost to the Beit El settlement is legal. He is expected to approve the plan.
