Libyan jet passes Greece en route to Egypt

ATHENS - A Libyan jet flew through Greekcontrolled air space briefly on Wednesday and headed to Egyptbut there was no information on whether it belonged to Libyanleader Muammar Gaddafi, a Greek foreign ministry official said.

"A Libyan Falcon jet reported to Athens FIR (FlightInformation Region) that it was passing through and heading toEgypt. It was in Greek FIR for about 15 minutes. We do not knowwho was on the plane or who it belongs to," the official, whorequested anonymity, told Reuters.
