French President Emmanuel Macron said during his Thursday speech at the Fifth World Holocaust Forum that “France knows exactly what it owes” those who hid Jewish children and adults from the authorities during the Vichy government.
Calling those who survived “heroes” he vowed “never again” to a standing ovation from the crowd.
