Man suspected of killing son released to house arrest

After 45 days in custody, the Ramle Magistrate's Court ruled on Sunday to release to house arrest a father suspected of involvement in his son's murder to house arrest.
Mohammed Sarsour, from the Arab village of Kfar Kassem east of Tel Aviv, has been remanded in custody since police arrested him 45 days ago on suspicion of involvement in killing his ten-year-old son, Anas, in Kfar Kassem.
A relative discovered Anas's body in early June, in an olive grove not far from his home, after locals spent hours searching for the missing boy. Police found signs of violence on the child's body and suspected foul play.  Sarsour was arrested a day after.
A day before the alleged murder, Anas came back from school at noon, ate lunch at home and told his parents he was going to visit his cousin to play.
