MK Ben Ari: Netanyahu's gov't harms settlers' rights

The current government harms settlers' rights more than any other, said National Union MK Michael Ben-Ari on Thursday.

Ben-Ari was responding to the expulsion orders handed out to 12 right-wing activists in the West Bank Wednesday overnight.

"Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's government is the government that has most harmed settlers' rights. We did not hear about the issuance of such orders to left-wing trouble makers in Bil'in and Ni'lin," he said.

The orders were handed out to activists from Havat Gilad, Alon More, Ramat Migron and Maoz Esther, based on information that the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) had gathered against them. According to the information, the group are radical activists, operating violently against West Bank Palestinians and security forces, threatening lives and public order and security in the region.
