Netanyahu to meet French Israelis Sunday

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet a group of immigrants to Israel from France at his official residence on Sunday evening in an effort to win votes fom that sector.
The meeting will follow up on a similar one with English-speaking immigrants that took place last Tuesday. A source close to Netanyahu said he speaks French and would speak at the event in French.
Other parties are also trying to woo French immigrant voters, including Koolanu, which placed French-speaking Eli Alaouf third on its list, and Yahad, which placed French-speaking MK Yoni Chetboun second. Seven thousand immigrants moved to Israel from France in 2014.
