North, South Korea agree to hold family reunions next month

North and South Korea agreed on Tuesday to hold a further round of reunions of family members separated during the 1950-53 Korean-War next month, the South said.
The dates were set for Oct. 20-26.
The rival Koreas last month ended a confrontation that involved an exchange of artillery fire on one of the world's most heavily fortified borders with a deal that called for more government talks.
The two sides also agreed to work towards resuming the highly choreographed meetings of families divided by the war, an emotional subject given the old age of survivors.
