Over 200 new immigrants from North American arrive in Israel

More than 200 olim, or new immigrants, from North America arrived Tuesday at Ben-Gurion Airport to complete their aliya process.
Among the group met by hundreds people awaiting the new Israeli citizens were 103 children.
The olim from the US and Canada arrived on a special flight organized by the nonprofit Nefesh B'Nefesh in cooperation with the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, the Jewish Agency and the Jewish National Fund along with its US branch JNF-USA.
The 218 immigrants who arrived Tuesday were the latest of the some 2,000 olim who are expected to immigrate to Israel this summer.
