PFLP warns of 'harsh' response if leader's health worsens

The PFLP threatened a "harsh" response to Israel if the health condition of its leaders, Ahmad Saadat, deteriorates further, Palestinian media reported on Monday. Saadat, who is participating in a hunger strike launched by Palestinian prisoners three weeks ago, was recently moved to a prison hospital, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.
"If Saadat's condition is at risk, the PFLP response will be very harsh," PFLP spokesman Jamil Mizhir said on Monday, according to Ma'an.
