Poland's new president, Bronislaw Komorowski, is sworn in

Poland's new president, Bronislaw Komorowski, has been sworn in for a 5-year term.
The pro-European Union and business friendly leader succeeds Lech Kaczynski, who was killed in a plane crash in Russia in April, a national tragedy that set off a period of mourning and an election to replace him.
Komorowski beat out Kaczynski's identical twin brother Jaroslaw Kaczynski in a highly unusual presidential race earlier this summer.
He took the oath of office before parliament on Friday, becoming the fourth democratically elected president since the fall of communism 20 years ago.
The first was Lech Walesa, the Solidarity leader. He was followed by Aleksander Kwasniewski, who served two terms, and then Kaczynski.
