Police continue investigation into Sheshinski death threats

The Police's National Fraud Unit was continuing its investigation into various death threats against Professor Eitan Sheshinski, head of the Sheshinski Committee, which proposed raising taxes on gas and oil profits, Army Radio reported.
Sheshinski said he received death threats several weeks before his committee's recommendations were released. The threat read: "Soften the interim recommendations or we'll hurt you," according to the report. Police took computers from the committee head's house in order to locate those responsible.
