Protest against Obama speech to be held outside US embassy

The My Israel movement together with several other NGOs were scheduled to hold a demonstration entitled "Obama, Israel won't commit suicide," outside of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv on Sunday evening. The protest comes in response to US President Barack Obama's Thursday Middle East speech in which he called for a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed upon land swaps.Demonstrators planned to symbolically wear nooses around their necks during the protest against the speech in which Obama "requested exaggerated concessions from Israel without requesting Palestinians give up the right of return."My Israel senior member, Ayelet Shaked said in a statement that "the US president's strange and unprecedented request to give Hamas, supporters of the same bin Laden that Obama just killed, a country, is like asking the Israelis to commit suicide."
