Rocks hurled at Rabbi Steinman's home during Peres visit

Dozens of haredi men protested outside the Bnei Brak home of Rabbi Aharon Leib Steinman on Wednesday afternoon, while President Shimon Peres was visiting the prominent Lithuanian leader.
The men, from the radical Neturei Karta sect, opposed Rabbi Steinman's meeting with this foremost icon of secular Zionism. Earlier they had spilled oil on the road in an attempt to prevent the meeting from taking place or at least disrupt it.
No one was hurt in the incident and no damage was reported.
Large police forces were trying to disperse the rioters.
