Schalits mark son's 1,500 days of captivity at J'lem tent

Noam Schalit, father of kidnapped soldier Gilad Schalit, spoke on behalf of the entire Schalit family in front of a crowd of 700 people at the protest tent outside the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem to mark the 1,500 days that his son has spent in captivity in Gaza on Tuesday.
"We have gathered by the official residence of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to mark the 1,500 days that Gilad, our dear and beloved son, has been imprisoned and entrapped in darkness of the basements of Gaza," said Noam. He continued, "We return to call upon you, the Prime Minister...its within your power and capabilities to end this sad story. This is a disgrace for the State of Israel and its government."
