State official: Too early to make predictions about Egypt

A senior state official that it is still too early to give predictions because it is not clear how things will develop in Egypt, Israel Radio reported Saturday.  The official stressed Israel's hopes that Egypt's democratization process is not accompanied by upheavals or violence, and that it is in both countries' clear interest to maintain the current peace agreements.
The prime minister's office has not yet reacted yet to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's resignation.
