Syrian forces shoot at Arab League monitor in Homs

An Arab League monitor in Syria to assess whether Damascus is adhering to a plan to end a nine-month crackdown on protests was injured Monday when Syrian forces shot at him in the city of Homs, Army Radio reported.
The monitor, a former officer in the Egyptian army, accused Syrian President Bashar Assad's army of genocide, according to the report.
